A sophomore engineering student built a platform, landed corporate sponsors, and started a company. In three weeks. 🚀🤯 Engineering students have no way to build in public and get noticed by companies. Diego saw the problem because he lived it. So he built The Hive. Diego Renteria is a sophomore Mechanical Engineering student at UT San Antonio. He and his co-founder had an idea for months: take their Discord community of engineering students and turn it into a real platform. The Agent 4 Buildathon was the excuse to sprint. Every free millisecond went into the project. Two nights with no sleep. Exams on top of it. They rebranded from Engineering Launchpad to The Hive, 10x'd the product, and landed corporate sponsors along the way. The Hive is where hardware engineering students build in public, compete, and get scouted by companies. Think GitHub for engineers, where companies can see what you're actually building, not just your resume. They already have @PCBWayOfficial as a sponsor, campus chapters planned for fall, and a recruitment system on the roadmap. From week one standout to grand prize winner. Built on Replit. 🔥 Media
