Found my limit: ~8 simultaneous code generation/review tasks. Beyond that, context-switching turns from leverage into chaos. AI coding doesn’t remove the need for WIP limits. It might even make them more important. But as agentic code gen and agentic code review work better together, the throughput of those 8 tasks can grow meaningfully. The unit of work can get a bit bigger, too: larger PRs, more complete tasks. But not too much. Best practices still matter, and so does my mental load.
