I’ve been playing around with the email connectors in ChatGPT and realised you can set up a surprisingly neat little workflow. My AI has its own Outlook inbox connected through the Outlook connector, while my personal Gmail is connected separately through the Gmail connector. So I can basically say something like: “Email me about this next Friday at 6pm.” It can create the email from its Outlook account, address it to my Gmail, and schedule it to actually send at that future time. I tested it today by asking it to email me one hour later, and it queued the message in Outlook for delayed delivery. It’s basically turned its email account into a little personal reminder system. Instead of getting a normal notification, future-me gets an actual email written by the AI with whatever context I wanted included. I know scheduled email itself isn’t new, obviously, but being able to casually tell an AI in conversation “email me about this next week” and have it handle the whole thing is pretty damn cool. submitted by /u/myrandomtips [link] [comments]
