Lightricks is laying off 75 employees (17% of workforce) as it continues restructuring amid AI disruption, less than six months after a previous round of 85 layoffs. The company is splitting into two separate entities: Facetune (the traditional photo-editing app) and LTX (its AI video platform), with CEO Zeev Farbman focusing on LTX while new leadership takes over Facetune. Lightricks has invested approximately $150 million in its AI business to date.
