I haven't tried most of the models I could run so I don't have much to go on but there's one Mistral 7b finetune I still load up and will continue to download to new systems, at this point the capabilities and knowledge of it has been eclipsed by smaller models with more features but this one finetune offers a nice structure and creativity that has earned its keep. Are there some older models or finetunes of those that anyone still uses over newer models? The Mistral 7b finetune is Hermes Trismegistos. Whatever occult finetune data made it creative or just different in many topics and then it was finetuned to be verbose.
