The company, founded by DeepMind researcher David Silver, aims to prove that agents trained purely from environmental interaction can develop novel strategies for reasoning about unsolved problems. The London-based startup has raised $1.1 billion in seed funding led by Sequoia Capital and Lightspeed at a $5.1 billion valuation.
