ik ik "another harness D:". so... i spent the last 6 months of my life building and ironing out every single detail and bug through almost every route with extensive testing across 3 machines, daily, nd imfinally at a stage where happy with how efficient it is and have been using it exclusively for dev on itself n basically use it exclusively now for all my work, deployed products included. built typescript native n works on macos, linux, windows powershell / windows term (tested on all extensively). i use it to work on dev and research for each update / testing (screenshot is beta.29 update of mercury being worked on; helped me push out 29 releases & 7.5k commits in five weeks by one dev (me!) with a fleet of agents, and a friend testing every release, since i published the repo publicly, compared to 7k commits done in private dev over 5 months using codex, cc, opencode n a mix of others) and spent a lot of time n money, sleep n a lil of my sanity on development because i'm really passionate about this project you can run any local model through it (Ollama, LM Studio, vLLM, llama.cpp), fully supported, put any model (opus, gpt sol, fable, openrouter api key, any other routes) as an advisor to that local model, launch mixed crewmates, n manage simultaneous sessions each in different repos all in one terminal window, and like basically have a session with fable for example, if it hits a usage limit, /model switches ya to astra or glm 5.3, so it's not -just- for tokenmaxxing unlike what the screenshots would suggest haha if anyone w more experience is happy to try it out on a side project, or just look at the code / run it in a container if you'd rather not install it and lmk any feedback and criticism id be really grateful, as that's the only thing im really missing rn and the main thing im after free to use n its source avail here : https://github.com/Whq02/MercuryCLI https://mercury-cli.ai https://mercury-cli.ai/docs/releases/ submitted by /u/Alive_Snow297 [link] [comments]
