Sakana AI entered the commercial API market with the beta launch of "Sakana Fugu," a sophisticated multi-agent orchestration system previously utilized as their internal secret weapon. Fugu fundamentally abstracts the complexity of building AI swarms. Instead of a developer manually deciding which specific foundation model should handle a given task, Fugu dynamically and autonomously coordinates a pool of frontier models. It analyzes the prompt, assigns roles, and dictates the collaboration pattern.
