The Canadian AI strategy unveiled today advocates for the development of technology that is safe, ethical, trustworthy, and that benefits society as a whole—these are exactly the principles that need to collectively guide us forward. I’m very encouraged by the Government of Canada’s leadership and commitment to supporting projects, including @LawZero_, that have the potential to have a concrete impact at the frontier of this technology. This is essential to preserve Canada’s technological sovereignty, enable it to achieve its AI goals, and protect its citizens.
