The contest is open to eligible participants who are 18 years of age or older. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of OpenAI are not eligible to enter or win. Winners will be selected from the pool of valid entries by eligible entrants. Each winner will receive one free ticket to OpenAI DevDay in San Francisco, California. Winners are responsible for all travel, lodging, meals, and other expenses not expressly included in the prize. Winners will be notified by direct message and must respond by filling out a form by July 1, 2026. If a winner does not respond by the deadline, is ineligible, or cannot accept the prize, OpenAI may select an alternate winner. No purchase necessary, entries must be submitted by July 1, 2026. Individuals located in Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, Crimea, Sevastopol, and the non-government-controlled areas of Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts of Ukraine are not eligible to enter.
