Perplexity AI has launched the "Billion Dollar Build," an eight-week competition inviting founders to use its agentic AI system, Perplexity Computer, to build a company with a path to a $1 billion valuation. The top 10 teams will present their working businesses live on June 9, with finalists having the opportunity to secure up to $1M in investment from the Perplexity Fund and up to $1M in Computer credits. Up to 3 winners will be announced on June 10, and the contest is open to US residents aged 18 and older, with entries accepted until June 2, 2026.
