No diffs, no reverts, no way to see what changed. - Compaction can silently erase parts of your agent's personality mid-session without anyone noticing. - "Open memory" means exportable state and inspectable compaction, not a vector database. - The storage layer is solved and boring; the memory contract above it is what actually matters.
