Verification is the hidden bottleneck for knowledge work agents, especially in legal AI — complex, long-horizon work is graded by rubrics with dozens of strict criteria. In new research with @LangChainAI Labs, we study how to verify legal agents more efficiently, and show open models can approximate frontier verifiers with orders of magnitude greater efficiency.
