Was this deadpan? As if we hadn’t experienced the internet era. Let me re-up: plausible that LLMs will slow down science today while also destroying the very processes that would eventually lead to better science tomorrow. Yes, I know of Erdős problems. Think one more step. It’s shocking to me that LLMs didn’t create an educational renaissance. Shouldn’t I be able to learn a language in a month? What did we get wrong?
