Zendesk launched a self‑service agent builder powered by Anthropic’s Claude, moving from proof of concept to early access in four months with a five‑person team. Within seven weeks of launch the platform executed over one million agent runs, cutting human handle times by up to 80 % and raising automated resolution rates by as much as 10 %. The solution ran on AWS Bedrock within Zendesk’s existing regions, enabling large clients—including one handling more than 14 million service requests per year—to automate tasks such as duplicate merging at 99 % accuracy.
