Always read the fine print: Anthropic is projecting its first (slightly) profitable quarter ever, which is amazing—assuming it actually happens —but if it does it will be in no small part because they are getting a one-time (nonrecurring) discount for that quarter on compute from SpaceX. That discount may well be bigger than the projected 559M profit. The context matters. Wow, Anthropic has agreed to pay @SpaceX 1.25 billion per month through May 2029 for AI compute capacity, with capacity ramping in May and June 2026 at a reduced fee. Huge deal
