GLM-5.1 is Z.ai's (zai-org) next-generation open-source flagship model for agentic engineering, achieving state-of-the-art performance on SWE-Bench Pro and significantly outperforming its predecessor on NL2Repo and Terminal-Bench 2.0. It is an incremental update to GLM-5 with a 744B-parameter MoE architecture, delivering major improvements in coding, agentic tool use, reasoning, and long-horizon tasks, with thinking mode now enabled by default. Atomic Chat has integrated GLM-5.1 for code and chat use cases, enabling local deployment via TurboQuant quantization.
