Google announces new experimental 'CC' AI agent for families

Google announced “CC,” an experimental AI agent that extends the Gemini‑powered personalization available in Google’s ecosystem to whole families of up to six members. Each family can grant limited access to their emails, calendars and a shared Drive folder via explicit sharing settings, enabling CC to surface relevant data and generate daily “Your Day Ahead” briefs for all users. The agent uses email, Google Chat, and shared documents as inputs, delivering coordinated planning and task‑completion support across the household.
