Speakers of the AI Engineer Europe summit (held April 8–10, 2026 in London) were hosted for a morning visit to 10 Downing Street. The gathering was hosted by Jade L. (Prime Minister's AI Advisor), Kalbir Sohi (Chief AI Officer for the UK and Director of the Incubator for AI), and Eoin Mulgrew (Head of the No. 10 Innovation Fellowship). The message from the event was that the UK government is ambitious about building "a better Britain with AI," with teams like i.AI and the Innovation Fellows already working to transform how the public sector operates.
