Has anybody else noticed responses randomly including bits of other languages like Arabic?

English-speaking users have widely reported that ChatGPT has begun inserting Arabic words and occasionally longer phrases into otherwise English replies, occurring across multiple devices and platforms. The behavior is not limited to Arabic — some users have also noticed ChatGPT including words or phrases in Armenian, Hebrew, Spanish, Chinese, and Russian. The issue is believed to stem from ChatGPT's token-based language processing, where the model may substitute a shorter foreign-language word that is more computationally efficient to process.
