Help on running Claude Code using ollama

Hi everyone. I am currently using gemma 4 model and used qwen 3:8b model. My goal is to use claude code to make projects, AI Tools Please help me find out what is more useful. Suppose i have to make a project like email summarizer, so should i use claude code via ollama or just ollama(gemma 4) to make it. What is the difference between the two and what should be used. When i have launced claude code on my vs code terminal, i ask it to do some changes in a folder lets say project folder, it's not able to find the folder or does not change the code in the file or sometimes give code in the terminal. In short it does not do the task i tell it to in a project folder When i gave promt to create email summarizer project it does not create any file/folder, gives some random code in terminal. I dont even know what it is doing. Its doing everything except creating the project. If anyone knows about this please help me fix this. submitted by /u/Namiesh [link] [comments]
