i ask chatgpt about literally everything now

i do not want to know how many times a day i open this thing. it's the first app before texts most mornings and the last one at night. some of it i'd defend. a spot on my chin that i photographed in the bathroom light to ask if it was stress or dairy. a flutter in my chest at 1am that i needed something to tell me was nothing. whether "noted." from a client meant she was annoyed, then having it soften my reply, then asking if the softened version sounded fake. she's fine by the way. she just types like that. i've decided. then there's the stuff i don't actually believe. i had a bad week so i asked it to look at my month and tell me whether it was going to keep going like that. then asked again ten minutes later worded differently because i didn't like the first answer. i also pasted a whole thread with someone into it and asked whether he was being distant or just busy, which is not a question anything can answer. i know that. and i keep noticing new ones of these for every stage of a life now. parents running a newborn's crying through an app to find out if it's hunger or pain. kids on character talking to the same made up person every day. single people on palaura letting an ai matchmaker go find them someone. someone's mum getting a daily check in call from a voice that isn't a person. so this isn't the peak for me. i'm still at the stage where i have to go and open the app myself. anyone else asking it things you know it's making up, or is that just me. submitted by /u/TheseamazING [link] [comments]
