Need for better models on ollama cloud .

We currently have an ancient qwen 3.5 27b on the cloud probably and that sucks compared to later versions , why doesnt ollama update automatically . We have practically ancient models right now on the cloud , support for them should be ended , and only the latest models from open source families should be cloud only . This will really make ollama very pleasing to use as model options will be available. Specially there are a ton of very good open source models out there that are not on ollama cloud like inkling , Laguna , longcat , mimo , stepfun , trinity and others . It is very annoying as we have to then use other providers for these models . Ollama also doesn't currently have tts , video , audio , image , 3d output models , they should also be there as pretty good models exist in the open source realm for these capabilities . submitted by /u/ConsiderationSea5032 [link] [comments]
