NVIDIA’s new Scale‑In network infrastructure, the fifth pillar of its AI networking stack, is powered by BlueField‑4 DPUs, DoCA software, and Spectrum‑X Ethernet to deliver dedicated, host‑independent acceleration for policy enforcement, storage access, security, and telemetry. With up to 800 Gb/s throughput, it offloads critical infrastructure services from the host CPU while enabling programmable, high‑performance operations such as tenant isolation, runtime threat detection, and fleet‑wide observability for agentic AI factory workloads. This architecture transforms traditional north‑south networking into a coordinated, line‑rate domain that supports the massive compute and bandwidth demands of next‑generation AI factories.
