NVIDIA’s Vera BlueField‑4 STX Storage Processor combines an 88‑core Armv9.2 design with spatial multithreading, a scalable coherency fabric and LPDDR5X memory to deliver high‑throughput storage processing for AI-native data platforms. Benchmarks show the processor outperforms x86 CPUs by up to 1.43× in encryption, 3.26× in Reed–Solomon recovery, 3.67× in CRC32C integrity checking and over 3.29× in compression while keeping CPU utilization, power draw and cooling requirements lower. This architecture enables higher service density for agentic AI workloads by scaling concurrent data flows with efficient core packing.
