arXiv:2604.22815v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Classical vehicle dynamics contains several widely adopted misconceptions that, while intuitively appealing, may lead to inconsistencies when examined under a rigorous mechanical framework. This paper revisits a number of such misconceptions, clarifying their domains of validity and highlighting potential sources of misunderstanding. The aim is not to dismiss established models, but to promote a more precise and scientifically grounded interpretation of key concepts.
