Enterprise revenue now accounts for more than 40% of OpenAI's total revenue and is on track to reach parity with consumer revenue by the end of 2026. The company is observing a key shift in how leading enterprises use AI — moving from AI-assisted individual tasks to managing coordinated teams of agents, driven in part by agentic tools like Codex, which has grown more than 5× since the start of the year. OpenAI's enterprise platform, Frontier, enables customers such as Oracle, State Farm, and Uber to build and deploy agents company-wide — with agents able to move across a company's systems and data, rather than being confined to a single product or environment.
