Vercel's Custom Reporting API for AI Gateway, now in beta for Pro and Enterprise plans, provides programmatic access to cost, token usage, and request volume across all AI Gateway traffic — including Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) requests — from a single endpoint. Teams can break down spend by model, provider, user ID, custom tag, or credential type, enabling per-feature, per-customer, and per-pricing-tier cost attribution without manually reconciling data from individual provider consoles. Requests can be tagged via the AI SDK, Chat Completions API, Responses API, or Anthropic Messages API, and the resulting data can be used to set budgets, calculate margins, and make pricing decisions based on real unit economics.
