Hi all, I'm seeing so many conversations from people discussing how they're "using the models wrong" and "don't use Sol max as high is enough for you", yet all the conversations lack the nuance of what people are using them for. I think we know that these AI models/companies have a financial incentive to target the high earning industries, so it makes sense that they would be better at coding and financial analysis, rather than creative story telling. But I think it also goes further for example with UI development it kinda sucks, yet backend and database management it works well - even with the model and strength. In my experience (medical research bioinformatics) the 5.5 high produces better, concise code, whilst the 5.6 Sol tends to write it in a website development style. With Sol Max it gets even worse and is almost unusable as I have to constantly correct it and wrangle it in with safeguard and boundaries. However, I also develop websites and have found the 5.6 Sol max is fantastic at integrating changes across complex websites/webapps and compex architectural changes. Question: tell me what industry you work in and what work you use chatgpt for, and then your experience of using the different models. 5.5 high to 5.6 Sol high and Max ect. Thanks all, I'm genuinely quite interested to see the results and might try to model them in a follow up post.... using Chatgpt 😅 submitted by /u/SomeOneRandomOP [link] [comments]
