Cigarette companies approach Marlboro Man to create internal standards (to avoid the imposition of government standards). Andddd we're back to it. The new standards body Google, OpenAI & Anthropic are working on has a name: the Standards Authority for Frontier AI. There have also been some names thrown around for its CEO—Sriram Krishnan, Arati Prabhakar—and chair—Condoleezza Rice, David Friedberg.
