Here's my version of her tweet for millennial/gen x business professionals: - download claude desktop app and purchase at least the 20/mo claude account - go into cowork or claude code and describe a full day of work, core competencies, what you worked on before, metrics you were goaled on, your experience in AI so far, your technical skillset, and ask "what are the top 10 high-leverage skills we can build together right now that would make me a 10x instead of a 2x"....then review those 10, pick your top 5, iterate more, get about a dozen - create a portfolio site with claude design (web browser capability), show the skills in action, show you testing and using the skills, talk through the business impact of each skill, publish it (i prefer vercel) - link the portfolio page to all your social profiles and share with friends, offer to teach folks those skills for $ - create several social posts that start with "i'm a , i was just laid off, and here's how i'm using ai today" or "here are the top x ways a can use agents and skills" or "i'm a and i just built an ai agent that " and link your portfolio in all of them - take either anthropic's free claude code courses, my free courses, or my mastermind (I've already helped several laid off people find new jobs) I'm sorry to those affected. It's easy for me to say "this is a great time to reskill or pivot!", but it's truly what I believe and the steps above take a few days maximum. Anyone can do it.
