Google's Gemma 4 models — the 26B (Mixture of Experts) and 31B (Dense) variants — are now available on Vercel AI Gateway. Built on the same architecture as Gemini 3, both open models support function-calling, agentic workflows, structured JSON output, and system instructions. The models are accessible via Vercel's unified API endpoint and billed at standard API rates, with free users receiving $5 in credits every 30 days.
