Great feature but is this true “multi-player mode”? I’d say no, honestly. I know everyone is psyched for this, and I’m sure my team will get value from it, but what has been more valuable is having our personal AIs interact with each other and with the team. Essentially, we bring in our personal AI CoS to reply with our access points. Ex: my content lead can ask my personal AI CoS in a channel “hey, did Allie already set up time with the Mars Company?” My AI CoS classifies that task into risk levels. If it’s low risk, my AI CoS replies on my behalf. If medium/high, it asks for permission or blocks the request. Our personal AI Chief of Staff can also collaborate with each other and cowork. That, to me, is multiplayer mode. This release is a new surface and is creating a new AI employee with its own memory and access points. Introducing Claude Tag, a new way for teams to work with Claude. In Slack, Claude joins as a team member with access to the channels and tools you choose. Tag Claude in and delegate tasks to it while you focus on other work.
