How KRAFTON Built PUBG Ally, a Co-Playable Character Powered by NVIDIA ACE

PUBG Ally is an interactive co-playable character for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS powered by an on-device small language model built with NVIDIA ACE technology, equipped to communicate and cooperate with players. The character can discuss strategies with players, adapt its playstyle, retrieve requested items, assist in reviving teammates, and make independent decisions during looting, combat, and survival situations. PUBG Ally processes voice commands and in-game situations to respond proactively using speech-to-text and text-to-speech technologies for real-time interaction.
