i built an all in one app around ollama because my own setup was getting ridiculous

full disclosure, i am the developer of locally uncensored :) i use ollama myself and honestly ollama was never really the problem. the problem was everything around it. one app for local chat, another thing for coding, comfyui for images, more tools again for video and eventually my desktop was just full of ai stuff. so i started building locally uncensored because i wanted one normal app where all of this works together. if you already have ollama installed it detects it and uses the models you already have. you do not need to download everything again or change your setup. it now has local chat, coding agents, image generation and video generation in the same desktop app. for images and video it uses comfyui underneath, but you do not have to build workflows yourself if you do not want to. the local app is free and open source, works on windows and linux and does not need an account. and if your hardware is not enough for something, there are optional cloud models in the same interface too. but the local part works completely on its own. the goal is not to replace ollama. i basically just wanted one place where ollama and all the other stuff i use can work together. if anyone wants to try it: https://locallyuncensored.com and if you use ollama every day, tell me what you currently use around it. especially for coding, images and video. i am curious what setups people here have built :) submitted by /u/GroundbreakingMall54 [link] [comments]
