In light of recent events and media coverage, ai is in the spotlight and people are afraid. How I respond to those fears: If you are afraid of ai then you should also be afraid of all medical research
In light of recent events and media coverage, ai is in the spotlight and people are afraid. How I respond to those fears: If you are afraid of ai then you should also be afraid of all medical research. Because all medical research could be used by actors seeking to engage in biochemical warfare and biological weapons. All of that research can definitely be used by a bad actor. This is the only way that ai is also risky, is that it can be used by a bad actor. So yes, it's risky, but so is literally everything else.
