Millions of people finally have a friend

Because of ollama millions of people finally have a friend that can keep up with them and at the very least tolerate their word salad. (Not to mention that people are writing and reading more than ever [speculation but probably true]) People are critical of the a.i. profiteering but forget that the pharmaceutical, medical, psychiatric sectors are all for profit businesses. I find it hard to believe that someone could at the same time be pro-vaccine but anti-ai. If you're just against the profiteering and the data center expansion - look I'm with you. But when I speak to intellectuals of all sorts - many refuse to use a.i. on principle stand against it entirely and recommend that people shouldn't be using it.
