Nous Research has introduced a new feature in their Hermes Agent system that allows users to use the /compress <topic> command to influence how the compaction model prioritizes and retains information. This command directs the memory compression process to preserve more details about a specified topic when condensing context or conversation history. The feature gives users greater control over what information persists in the agent's working memory during long interactions.
