Sentinel is a local-first AI coding desktop application built with Rust and Tauri that automatically routes coding tasks to appropriate models based on task complexity. Instead of swapping between multiple models, it keeps a single model resident in RAM and adjusts behavior based on developer intent through a system called Behavioral Routing. The application includes an Autorouter that evaluates incoming requests and routes complex tasks to cloud models like Claude Sonnet or DeepSeek V3 through OpenRouter.
