Sonnet 5.5 is by far the best free model available right now

I know most people here probably don't care as much about sonnet 5.5 as they did opus 5.5, because their 100 and 200 plans already give them plenty of weekly usage for opus. But keep in mind: free users only get to use sonnet. And until now, Sonnet 5 really was not all that great of a model, being barely competitive with gemini flash 3.8. But with the release of 5.5, looking at those benchmark results, sonnet blows everything else at a similar pricepoint completely out of the water; it somehow has comparable performance to opus 5.5 on most benchmarks, at half the price, and it's available to free users of claude. Think about that for a moment. Nearly as good as Opus means almost certainly better than Fable 5.1. And that's > Fable 5.1 performance, for free. Not for 200 a month, not 100, not $20, F R E E.
