Cursor's AI agents platform (accessible at cursor.com/agents) allows developers to run autonomous coding agents that can independently write, modify, test, and review code — triggerable via the web, desktop app, mobile, Slack, or GitHub. The agents can run in parallel with full development environments on their own virtual machines, cloud-based computers that behave just like a physical one. Cursor has also introduced Automations, a system that gives users a way to automatically launch agents within their coding environment, triggered by a new addition to the codebase, a Slack message, or a simple timer.
