5.6 high is answering like 'instant'. It seems unable to actually perform tasks.
I've been working on a project for a few days and now all of a sudden chagpt is unusable.. It will list the next steps of implementation but never actually start working on them. anyone else? UPDATE I

UPDATE I have found this post which is related to the issue. It seems chatgpt silently switches to 5.5 mini model: https://community.openai.com/t/possible-chatgpt-behavior-regression-after-august-19-outage-gpt-5-6-sol-projects-long-context-workflows/1391531/20 Workarounds: - Desktop app seems to work better with proper reasoning and function. I'm however having issue with file uploads there so i'm switching between browser chat and desktop app. - Log out from chagpt on your browser. Clear your cache. Close browser, reopen and re-login. You can ask chatgpt "which model am i talking to" t confirm if you are back on 5.6 High. Worked for me, at least for now. submitted by /u/Ixb11170 [link] [comments]
