Google Antigravity is an agentic science workbench that consolidates multiple biological databases into a single interface, enabling biologists to rapidly discover, evaluate, and prioritize therapeutic targets. Using ProtNLM—a model that infers protein function from amino‑acid sequences—the platform scans millions of uncharacterized UniProt proteins and recently identified a novel antimicrobial peptide with predicted activity against respiratory pathogens; the lead is currently in wet‑lab validation. The tool aims to accelerate antibiotic discovery in response to rising global antimicrobial resistance, which threatens up to 10 million deaths annually by 2050.
