We’re launching the Google DeepMind Accelerator program in Asia Pacific to tackle environmental risks

Google DeepMind has launched "AI for the Planet," a three-month accelerator program in Asia Pacific focused on leveraging advanced AI to combat environmental challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, and resource management. The program is open to startups, research teams, and non-profit organizations across the region, with participants applying frontier AI to solve problems in nature conservation, climate action, sustainable agriculture, and renewable energy. Selected organizations receive mentorship from Google AI experts and tailored support to integrate cutting-edge AI and science models into their projects or products, with the program commencing with an in-person bootcamp in Singapore.
