Google DeepMind expanded content transparency and verification tools to help users understand how content was created and edited across the web, integrating these capabilities into Search, Gemini, Chrome, Pixel and Cloud. The effort builds on SynthID, Google's digital watermarking technology that embeds imperceptible signals into AI-generated content, with over 100 billion images and videos watermarked. Content created with these tools includes imperceptible SynthID digital watermarks and C2PA Content Credentials that users can easily verify through supported applications.
