Atlassian's multimodel agent platform

Atlassian uses Claude for complex and long-running workflows in Rovo Chat, Rovo CLI, and early-access Rovo Max, while Claude Code is used within engineering and was piloted in non-technical teams. Its AI gateway on Google Cloud routes work among providers according to task, quality, and cost. Anthropic's customer story says more than five million AI agents ran in customer business workflows in one month, but does not attribute all those executions to Claude; Rovo uses multiple models.

The same story reports millions of Rovo Chat users but does not provide a controlled measure of Claude-specific productivity or customer outcomes. Atlassian says Gemini Flash is the default for high-volume general-purpose agents, with Claude reserved for harder reasoning work. The evidence therefore supports a selective, multimodel product deployment, not a claim that Claude powered every Rovo agent or caused the reported platform scale.
