BBVA expanded ChatGPT Enterprise to 11,000 employee licences
BBVA reported 11,000 ChatGPT Enterprise licences in May 2025, with 83% daily usage and self-reported 2.8 hours saved weekly.
BBVA's May 2025 employee rollout
BBVA expanded ChatGPT Enterprise access from 3,300 to 11,000 employee licences in May 2025. In its own report, BBVA said 83% of licensed users accessed the tool at least once daily and employees using it for task automation reported saving an average of 2.8 hours per week. The bank also reported more than 3,000 specialised assistants for tasks including translation, summaries, coding, legal queries, and financial analysis.
This is a dated, first-party account of an earlier rollout stage, not a second independent measurement of the later figures in OpenAI's June 2026 customer story. The time saving is employee-reported, not an audited productivity estimate, and 11,000 licences is not a count of active users.
