Sun Life Asks employee assistant

In a dated company press release, Sun Life said its internal GenAI chatbot, Sun Life Asks, helped employees with text summaries, ideas for presentations, and article analysis within its technology environment. The company reported more than 5,000 weekly users and over 400,000 queries during the first eight months after launch. It also reported 229% growth in use over that interval and said employees described saving minutes to hours on regular tasks.

These are Sun Life's own usage and employee-reported time-saving claims, not an independent productivity study. The release does not identify the underlying model or assert a measured customer outcome. AWS separately describes Sun Life Asks as using Claude through Amazon Bedrock, but its undated case study should not be treated as a second independent measure of the 2024 usage figures.
