1Password's first-party account describes an internal AI Champions network spanning product, technology, marketing, go-to-market and finance. Champions support approved-tool experiments, peer learning, office hours and enterprise rollouts.

For its Finance AI Hackathon, 1Password says 90 team members built 21 agents and that those agents save the team 5–10 hours per person per week. The blog does not disclose how time savings were measured, whether every participant used an agent afterwards, or a controlled baseline. This is a company-reported result for finance automation, not a Codex-specific engineering result.

1password-codex-engineering-rollout covers a different OpenAI customer case about software-delivery work. The two outcomes have different populations and workflows and must not be combined. Related employee enablement approaches appear in gitlab-internal-ai-fluency-playbook and accenture-copilot-employee-rollout-results.
