Samsung Electronics deploys multiple AI tools for employees
Samsung's own announcement says its DX division selected ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude after a 2,500-person evaluation; no measured outcome is reported.
Samsung Electronics' Korean newsroom announced that its Device eXperience (DX) division would officially introduce ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude for employee work on 12 June 2026. Samsung says it chose the three external services after an evaluation involving approximately 2,500 employees. Its stated approach lets staff choose a tool according to the task rather than mandating one provider.
The announcement frames productivity, decision speed and organisational execution as intended benefits. It does not publish a measured before/after result, cost-benefit calculation, or outcome from the 2,500-person evaluation. This source therefore corroborates the rollout and sourcing strategy, not an achieved productivity gain.

OpenAI's Korea-wide Codex user growth figure is not a Samsung-specific outcome and should not be attributed to this deployment.
